The words and timeless stories of William Shakespeare create innumerable possibilities designed for the stage by directors that are exciting to both audiences and actors alike. However, one of the most groan-worthy truths about Shakespeare is the text.
In this two-hour workshop, participants will work to conceptualize and modernize heightened text to perform Shakespeare and other classical works through truthful and honest perspectives.

Led by favorite TPS teaching artists, get a front-seat view of the 93rd season here at The Players Studio. Chat and play warm-up games with the directors from upcoming production classes, partake in Q&A, listen to songs from the shows, practice cold reads and sides within the season, learn a mini dance combo, and have discounted headshots taken with our in-house photographer! This workshop takes the nerves away from auditioning and turns it into FUN!
