The next set of auditions for the 2008-2009 Season will take place at the theatre on Saturday, August 16th, starting at 12:00. Please contact the Box Office at 365.2494 to schedule a convenient audition time. Everyone should prepare a one-minute monologue.

Calling all Playwrights!

The 8th Annual New-Play Reading Series is open to Gulf Coast residents over the age of 18 from now until May 1, 2008. Artistic Director Jeffery Kin will lead the event. A committee of four judges will select a minimum of six plays to be presented during the week of July 7 – 12, 2008 at The Players, 838 North Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. One of the winning plays will be selected as “Best of Series” and will be presented as a full production on The Players main stage in Summer 2009.
