		Stand-up Comedy of CARMEN CIRICILLO March 22, 2010 at 8 pm Nationally touring comedian Carmen Ciricillo returns to the Players to perform his stand up comedy routine for one night only! 		Take a tour with Season of Sculpture, The Players Theatre, and Sarasota Arts Council. March 14, 2010 • $10 Donation The tour begins on the Bayfront at 1 pm at the “Oloid” sculpture at US 41 and Gulfstream, led by Season of Sculpture Executive Director Brenda Terris. The tour continues at The Players led by Board Chair Ken Shelin and Managing Director Michelle Pingel. 		Calling all Playwrights!“The Plays The Thing” Play Writing Contest The 10th Annual New-Play Competition is open to Gulf Coast residents over the age of 18 from now until April 1, 2010. A committee of judges will select a minimum of six plays to be presented during the week of July 26-31, 2010, at The Players. One of the winning plays will be selected as “Best of Series” and presented as a full stage production at The Players in 2011. For submission guidelines, click here.
